Iðavelli Hof rede meeting minutes: 9 October 2007 Minutes of Last Meeting - Minutes of last meeting approved. Budget - Budget for this year approved. Phil to write reimbursement checks for Thing expenses. Business Cards - Third design of business cards is good. Ana to work up final design. Ana & Eric to proceed with budgeted amount ($40) to get 500-1000 cards in 2-3 colors. Ana to email final design. Classes / Presentations - The Pagan Mysticism Group at Guilford College would like us to do some kind of class/presentation. Hearthfire really liked "What is Heathenry" that Dan presented. The organizer for PPD 2008 would also like us to do a workshop at PPD. CTC has also expressed interest. Ana already has reserved her booth for PPD '08, plus a booth for the Hof next to it. We might start the next run through the rune row in Beginner Runes after PPD next year. Dan to get Guilford College contact from Phil and contact them - ETA of Jan/Feb for the class. Dan also to set up class for CTC. Gary's Gift to the Hof - Worth getting a chest to house the hoard, plus other Hof items. Dan to consult Roger about custom chest. Price to be considered carefully. Dan will ensure hoard presented to membership at Yule. Upcoming Blots - Dan to contact Tammie about working the Idunna blot into a Winternights celebration for Oct 28. Phil and Ana to organize Winternights activities. Nov blot to be done by Jenn on Sun before Thanksgiving - blot is to ancestors. Yule - Dan to check with Cynthia abnout hosting; Jag's place as back-up. E-Lists - Phil to mass-subscribe all members to hof-members (since it is a dist list only for the Rede, for communicating only to members, unlike hof-announce which is open). Then send out an announcement about hof-talk to hof-announce (Dan to do this). Website Development - No change on website work, stay tuned. 501c3 Paperwork - Phil to send sample Conflict of Interest policy to Rede. Rede to review and give feedback or possible edits for our own version. Jag still to review 501c3 paperwork and highlight sections which need verbage and ask Dan to supply.
